Join the MC Group team! We have opportunities in quarrying, civil construction, and bulk haulage, with roles available for machine operators, diesel fitters, and bulk haulage drivers.
We’re looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Diesel Apprentice Fitter to join our team and play a key role in keeping the MC Group fleet of plant and equipment running smoothly. This hands-on role offers the chance to gain valuable experience while completing your apprenticeship, working alongside skilled tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment. You’ll work on a wide range of machinery, with no two days the same, and have opportunities to travel to remote locations for field work. With ongoing development and a clear pathway to qualification, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career in the diesel fitting trade.
Loader Operator – Crushing & Sales
- Experienced in crushing support and stockpiling
- Skilled in sales loader operation and material loadout
- Efficient and safety-conscious equipment operation
Excavator Operator – Crushing & Quarry Ops
- Experience in feeding crushers, benching and quarry operations.
- Strong understanding of crushing and safety procedures
- Previous quarry or mining background preferred
All-Rounder – Operator & Ground Support
- Versatile operator with ability to step into multiple roles
- Willing to assist with on-ground tasks as needed
Crusher Fitter / Mechanical All-Rounder
- Responsible for maintenance of crushing plant and mobile equipment
- Hands-on role also supporting day-to-day operations
- Trade qualified or experienced in crushing maintenance
