Civil Supervisor-Based in Mossman, with travel to other sites and DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) work required as operational and business needs dictate.
· Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience supervising civil construction projects
· Certificate III in Civil Construction (desirable)
· Construction White Card
· Current Driver’s Licence
· Relevant RII tickets and plant operating experience (highly regarded)
· Strong understanding of civil construction methods, specifications and quality requirements
· Sound knowledge of WHS and environmental compliance on remote and DIDO projects
· Ability to read plans, set daily targets and coordinate labour, plant and subcontractors
· Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
· Physically fit and prepared to work in remote locations and challenging conditions
· Reliable, organised and committed to delivering projects on time and within budget
The Civil Supervisor will work closely with Project Managers and senior management to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of existing and upcoming projects across Queensland. This is a hands-on role requiring active involvement in day-to-day site operations as needed.
Oversee the safe and efficient execution of civil construction works, including earthworks, roadworks, drainage and infrastructure projects. This role involves supervising crews and subcontractors, coordinating plant and materials, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Mobile Crusher Supervisor
· Minimum 2 years’ experience operating loaders and/or excavators in quarrying, or civil work
· RII tickets for loader, excavator. and crushing and screening operations
· Construction white card
· Drivers Licence
· Practical experience around crushing equipment
· Good understanding of safety on remote work sites
· Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions
· A dependable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
Minimum 2-3 yrs experience as a supervisor
Supervisor will work closely with Project and Quarry Managers to ensure the smooth and effective running of operations across DIDO and remote locations. This position also requires a hands-on approach, with active involvement in day-to-day site activities as required.
Diesel Fitter
· Hold a Trade Certificate in Automotive Engineering or a related qualification
· Minimum of 12 months’ industry experience.
· Repairs and maintenance of heavy fixed and mobile plant/equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner.
· Servicing, repairs, and maintenance activities maintaining a fit-for-purpose and operational condition.
· Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs both in the workshop and on-site.
Cook / Cleaner
Location: Barwidgi Station
Roster: DIDO – 10 days on / 4 days off
Positions Available: 2 x Cook/Cleaners
· Previous experience working as a Cook/Cleaner, preferably in remote, camp or station environments
· Commercial cooking experience and relevant qualifications highly regarded
· Food Safety / Food Handling Certificate highly regarded
· able to pass a Police Check / Police Clearance
· Current Drivers Licence
· Experience preparing and cooking meals for larger work crews
· Ability to follow recipes, set menus
· Good understanding of food hygiene, food safety and kitchen sanitation
· Experience with general cleaning, including accommodation, offices, kitchens and amenities
· Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
· Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions and a remote environment
· Good organisational and time management skills
· Experience with food ordering, stock control and managing kitchen supplies
· Ability to collect food, cleaning supplies and other deliveries from town as required
· A dependable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
· Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
· Available to work a Drive In, Drive Out (DIDO) 10 days on / 4 days off roster
Cook/Cleaners will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and cooking of meals, kitchen operations and general cleaning duties at camp. The role will include maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, cleaning accommodation and facilities, ordering food and supplies, monitoring stock levels and collecting deliveries from town as required.
The successful applicants will work closely with our permanent Camp Cook to ensure meal planning, ordering, stock levels, food preparation and kitchen operations are well coordinated and the camp runs smoothly.
Plant Operators
· Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy mobile plant in civil construction and/or quarrying
· RII tickets/competencies for relevant plant, including excavator, loader, dozer and/or grader
· Construction White Card
· Current Drivers Licence
· Practical experience operating heavy machinery in civil and/or quarry environments
· Good understanding of WHS requirements and safe plant operation
· Ability to carry out daily pre-start inspections and identify/report plant faults
· Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions and remote locations
· Ability to work effectively around other plant, trucks and site personnel
· A dependable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
· Willingness to work DIDO and/or remote projects as required
Plant Operators will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and Quarry Managers to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of daily operations. This is a hands-on position requiring operators to safely and efficiently operate plant while assisting with general site activities as required.
Previous experience across civil construction, quarrying, roadworks, bulk earthworks and/or crushing and screening operations will be highly regarded.
