Civil Supervisor-Based in Mossman, with travel to other sites and DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) work required as operational and business needs dictate.
· Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience supervising civil construction projects
· Certificate III in Civil Construction (desirable)
· Construction White Card
· Current Driver’s Licence
· Relevant RII tickets and plant operating experience (highly regarded)
· Strong understanding of civil construction methods, specifications and quality requirements
· Sound knowledge of WHS and environmental compliance on remote and DIDO projects
· Ability to read plans, set daily targets and coordinate labour, plant and subcontractors
· Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
· Physically fit and prepared to work in remote locations and challenging conditions
· Reliable, organised and committed to delivering projects on time and within budget
The Civil Supervisor will work closely with Project Managers and senior management to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of existing and upcoming projects across Queensland. This is a hands-on role requiring active involvement in day-to-day site operations as needed.
Oversee the safe and efficient execution of civil construction works, including earthworks, roadworks, drainage and infrastructure projects. This role involves supervising crews and subcontractors, coordinating plant and materials, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Mobile Crusher Supervisor
· Minimum 2 years’ experience operating loaders and/or excavators in quarrying, or civil work
· RII tickets for loader, excavator. and crushing and screening operations
· Construction white card
· Drivers Licence
· Practical experience around crushing equipment
· Good understanding of safety on remote work sites
· Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions
· A dependable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
Minimum 2-3 yrs experience as a supervisor
Supervisor will work closely with Project and Quarry Managers to ensure the smooth and effective running of operations across DIDO and remote locations. This position also requires a hands-on approach, with active involvement in day-to-day site activities as required.
Diesel Fitter
· Hold a Trade Certificate in Automotive Engineering or a related qualification
· Minimum of 12 months’ industry experience.
· Repairs and maintenance of heavy fixed and mobile plant/equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner.
· Servicing, repairs, and maintenance activities maintaining a fit-for-purpose and operational condition.
· Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs both in the workshop and on-site.
Side Tipper Operator-travel to other sites and DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) work required as operational and business needs dictate (Must be willing and committed to working overnight shifts, weekend work, and extended hours as required to meet operational and business needs.)
· Minimum MC Licence
· Clean driving history
· Minimum 2 years’ proven experience operating side tippers in quarry, mining or civil environments
· Proven experience operating Roadranger (manual) gearboxes
· Construction White Card
· A sound understanding of Fatigue Management and of work and rest requirements.
· Relevant RII tickets and plant operating experience (highly regarded)
· Strong knowledge of load restraint, Chain of Responsibility and legal load limits
· Good understanding of safety requirements on remote and DIDO work sites
· Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions
· Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
The Side Tipper Operator will work closely with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure the safe and efficient transport of quarry materials and project products across civil, quarry and crushing operations. Operate side tipper combinations to transport material safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with fatigue management, NHVAS and Chain of Responsibility requirements. This role includes completing pre-starts, daily paperwork, minor maintenance and ensuring loads are delivered on time.
Float Driver- travel to other sites and DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) work required as operational and business needs dictate(Must be willing and committed to working overnight shifts, weekend work, and extended hours as required to meet operational and business needs.)
· Current MC Licence (essential)
· Clean driving history
· Minimum 2 years’ proven experience operating floats and low loaders
· Proven experience operating Roadranger (manual) gearboxes
· Demonstrated ability to safely load, unload and operate plant and equipment being transported, including excavators, loaders, dump trucks and dozers
· Relevant RII tickets are essential
· Construction White Card
· A sound understanding of Fatigue Management and of work and rest requirements
· Strong knowledge of load restraint, over-dimensional loads and Chain of Responsibility requirements
· Good understanding of safety requirements on remote and DIDO work sites
· Physically fit and prepared to work in demanding conditions
· Reliable and committed with strong attention to detail
The Float Driver will work closely with Supervisors and Project Managers to safely transport plant and equipment between project sites, quarries and workshops across Queensland. Operate floats and low loaders to transport heavy plant and equipment safely and efficiently. This hands-on role requires competency in loading, unloading and operating the machinery being transported, while ensuring all transport activities are completed in compliance with fatigue management, NHVAS and safety requirements.
